An incomplete lead alloy harness mount of post-medieval date. A Post Medieval lead token or decoration. The token is circular with raised decoration on the obverse. On the obverse the decoration depicts a shield overlaid with a long cross. The top two quarters of the shield may have a letter in each whilst the bottom two quarters contain a pellet each. The piece is bound by a border of raised zig zag lines. The reverse is blank and flat suggesting that it could have been attached - maybe to leather. The item is slightly buckled probably as a result of damage by a plough.
