A copper alloy contemporary copy of a voided long cross silver penny of Henry III (AD 1216-72), probably copying a penny of London mint of Class V onwards (AD 1251-1272). The lettering on both faces is crude and due to the condition of the coin is mostly unreadable. Nonsensical legends are sometimes seen on contemporary copies. No silver plating remains.
