A fragment of a copper-alloy mount of uncertain date. The mount comprises a hemispherical section body of three beaded mouldings which is broken at one end and terminates at the other in a flat, circular lug. The body is pierced centrally and there are iron corrosion products obscuring the piercing. The underside is hollow. The mount measures 31mm in length, 11mm in width and 5mm in thickness.

At its centre is a small circular perforation now filled with corrosion products. The upper surface of the mount is decorated with a circumferential groove. The underside of the plate is decorated with two closely-spaced concentric grooves creating a ring. The mount measures 38mm in diameter and 1mm in thickness. It weighs 6g. A copper-alloy mount probably dating to the Roman period. The mount is flat and circular in shape, with a small and fragmentary rectangular plate extending from the circumference of the mount. The upper surface of the mount is decorated with an outer and inner concentric rib enclosing a central circular knop which have been created by pushing out the metal from the underside using a mould. Both the ribs and central knop are decorated with incised grooves. The mount measures 40mm in diameter and a maximum of 5mm in thickness.

The mount comprises a flat oval plate flanked by two smaller, but wider oval extensions decorated with horizontal grooves. One of these extensions is broken. The other extends to a rectangular strip which is bent back on itself to form a hook. The mount measures 47mm in length, 13mm in width and 1mm in thickness. It weighs 5.79g.

A fragment of a copper-alloy object, possibly a mount dating to the Roman period depicting a boar. The fragment, although heavily corroded, comprises the front portion of the animal, with the head, ridged back and legs rendered in the three dimensions. Only a small part of the left leg survives; the right leg exists as a scar. Both sides of the boar's body are decorated with diagonal grooves, perhaps intended to represent hair. A copper-alloy mount of uncertain function but possibly related to dress, probably dating to the period AD 1200 to 1400. The mount is openwork and rectangular in shape with a circular perforation in each corner. The bottom left hand perforation is filled with iron corrosion, presumably the remains of a rivet. A fragment of a copper-alloy mount in the form of a dolphin, possibly dating to the Roman period. At one end, the object possesses a flat, triangular plate, which extends to a smaller triangular plate at the apex. The object then becomes oval in section and expands to form an approximately conical lug, which is pierced and broken. The outer edge of the piercing is notched. The object measures 27mm in length, a maximum of 9mm in width and 3mm in thickness. For a similar mount, see Chapman 2005, 127, Sr24 from Carleon amphitheatre. Here the mount is identified as a military belt fitting.
