A fragment of a copper-alloy object, possibly a nail cleaner dating to the Roman period. The fragment comprises the terminal and part of the leaf-shaped blade. The terminal is rectangular in plan with a rounded terminal. A horizontal rib separates the terminal from the blade which is flat and leaf-shaped. There is circular perforation on the blade. The object measures 26mm in length, 10mm in width and the perforation has a diameter of 3mm.

A fragment of copper-alloy scale armour, known as 'lorica squamata' dating to the second or third century AD. The scale is fragmentary but is flat and tongue-shaped. At the rectangular end of the plate, there are two circular perforations. One has a circular-section loop of wire threaded through it. Parallel with this perforation, there was clearly a further perforation but the scale is damaged. The scale measures 33mm in length, 20mm in width and 1mm in thickness and weighs ??g. Although damaged, this scale appears to be of von Groller's Type III.

At its centre is a small circular perforation now filled with corrosion products. The upper surface of the mount is decorated with a circumferential groove. The underside of the plate is decorated with two closely-spaced concentric grooves creating a ring. The mount measures 38mm in diameter and 1mm in thickness. It weighs 6g.
