A complete iron knife of Manning (1985) Type 23 dating to the Late Iron Age or early Roman period. The knife possesses a rectangular-sectioned whittle tang, tapering tapering to a point. The other end joins the back edge of the knife blade which curves downwards before curling up at the tip. The cutting edge is stepped forward from the tang and follows the line of the back edge, giving a rounded cutting edge with a sharp tip. The knife measures 168mm in length. An incomplete Late Iron Age copper-alloy brooch of Boss-on-Bow type (La Tene D2) dating to the first century BC. At the head of the brooch is a fragment of the circular-section wire which would originally have formed the integral spring mechanism. This extends to a slightly arched, leaf-shaped bow. The bow is decorated with a central longitudinal rib and marginal ribs. The marginal ribs appear to be knurled. The brooch possesses an integral spring mechanism which extends to arched tapering bow which is D-shaped in section. The bow is plain. The bow terminates in a square foot behind which is a flat rectangular catchplate. Only a small portion of the pin survives. The brooch measures 38mm in length and a maximum of 8mm in width.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy bow brooch of Langton Down type dating to the late Iron Age or early Roman period, c. AD 25-60. The pin, the lower bow andcatchplate are missing. It posssesses a fragmentary cylindrically-winged head which conceals the coils of the spring mechanism. The head extends to a 'D'-sectioned tapering bow decorated with multiple moulded longitudinal ridges. The brooch measures 22mm in length, 18mm in width at the head and 9mm in width at the bow.A similar brooch is published by Mackreth (2012)vol. II, p. 23, pl. 20, no. 11743.
