An Iron Age gold stater of the North Thames region / Catuvellauni and Trinovantes, struck for Cunobelinus (AD 8-41), dating to the period AD 10-40, Cunobelinus Classic Stalk Type. Obverse: CA-M[V], Corn ear with central stalk. Reverse: CVNO, Horse rearing right, branch above. As BMC 1830 (although cf.1828 for the obverse); ABC no. 2798.
