A copper-alloy buckle of Medieval date. The frame is as Meols Type C with trapezoidal frame that has an offset and narrowed bar, and expanded rectangular outer edge. The outer edge has a central pin rest comprising three transverse grooves, with single grooves at top and bottom where the outer edge meets the sides. Hinging around the bar is a separately cast copper-alloy buckle plate. This is retangular in form with rectangular frame recesses and pin slot, and a single central circular rivet at the attachment end. The pin is missing due to old breaks. A cast copper-alloy buckle frame of Early-Medieval/Anglo-Saxon date. It is D-shaped in form and section with a slightly narrowed and straightened bar, missing the pin due to old breaks. At the centre of the bar is a slight notch perhaps where the pin was originally located. The entire object measures 13.78mm in width/height, 8.54mm in length, 2.23mm in thickness, and weighs 0.83g. This buckle is similar in form to Marzinzik's Type I.10d-ii buckle frames (Marzinzik, 2003: pp. 31) and probably dates to the Early-Medieval period, c.400-720 AD.

An incomplete copper-alloy buckle with integral plate, probably a spur buckle, of Medieval date. Only parts of the plate and the bar survive, the remainder now missing due to old breaks. The plate is rectangular in section, triangular in form, tapering towards old breaks at both attachment and frame ends. At the centre of the frame end is a large central circular pin slot, the rest of the frame now incomplete. An incomplete cast copper-alloy buckle of Late Roman date, probably as Hawkes and Dunning Type IIB. It has an oval frame with moulded decoration comprising stylised confronting animal heads with slight crests, perhaps dolphins, separated by a small oval bead at the centre of the outer edge. At the frame end are the remains of an integrally cast rectangular plate that is now mostly incomplete due to old breaks. Hinging around one side of the frame is a copper-alloy pin that is rectangular in form and section, tapering to a rounded tip. The entire object measures 23.08mm in diameter, 2.87mm in thickness, and 3.74g in weight. It is of Medieval date, c.12th-15th centuries AD.

Only the outer edge and small fragments of the side of the frame survive, the reminder now missing due to old breaks. The outer edge is rectangular in form and oval in section, decorated on its front face with a central rectangular grooved pin rest, and double transverse grooves where outer edge and sides of frame meet. The entire fragment measures 35.46mm in width, 9.62mm in surviving length, 5.79mm in thickness, and 7.71g in weight. This buckle frame is of Medieval date, c.14th century AD.

The frames are separated by a narrowed bar that is D-shaped in section and has oval projections on each outer edge where frame and bar meet.
