A cast lead(?) alloy object of uncertain function. It is rectangular in form and section, with a transverse groove that runs around the mid point of each edge. On the back face is a central rectangular groove or slot. The front face has incised decoration that comprises a horse facing left. It measures 8.65mm in width, 6.47mm in length, 1.67mm in thickness, and 0.52g in weight. The precise function of this object remains uncertain. An incomplete cast lead-alloy whistle of uncertain date. It is rectangular in form, square in cross-section and hollow, missing part of the mouthpiece due to old breaks. At the end of the whistle is a separately cast circular end plate that tapers at its centre to a conical suspension loop. This has a circular terminal that is biconical in cross-section and has a central circular perforation. One side of the end cap, at the underside of the whistle, has some post-depositional damage. An incomplete cast lead cloth seal, probably from a four part seal, of Post-Medieval date. One disc and part of a second disc(?) survive intact, the remainder no missing due to old breaks. The complete disc is flat, circular in form and on one face carries a square shield bearing the arms of Stuart Britain. The opposite side of the disc is flat and undecorated. At one end the disc terminates in old breaks while at the other are the remains of a possible second disc or connecting strip.
