Medieval (12th to 15th centuries) spindle whorl: A cast lead or lead alloy spindle whorl which is cylindrical with a central sub-circular perforation which is 7.87mm diameter. The upper surface of the spindle whorl is decorated with a high-relief square frame with four high-relief pellets, on in each corner. The surface is oxidised and is a cream colour.
It measures 22.91mm diameter and is 10.66mm thick. It weighs 29.59g.

Medieval (12th to 15th centuries) spindle whorl: A cast lead or lead alloy spindle whorl which is sub-circular in plan and in profile is biconical. There is a central sub-circular perforation which is 9.26mm diameter. The surface of the spindle whorl is decorated on both faces with multiple high-relief pellets and fine ridges on one face and a irregular high-relief cross-hatching on the other. The surface is oxidised and is a cream colour.
It measures 29.51mm diameter and is 8.89mm thick. It weighs 29.08g.
