A Roman AE sestertius of Marcus Aurelius c. 160 - 180 AD. The obverse has the laureate and cuirassed bust right and the reverse with probably, Salus standing left, holding patera, feeding serpent rising from altar. The coin is in very worn condition with no discernible legend and has a mid-green/brown patina.

A copper alloy cast pendant Roman in origin c. 100 - 400 AD. From the top suspension loop, the device tappers to a fine point and is decorated by circumferential ring pairs, separating 'egg' like mouldings. Although seemingly circular in section, it lays flat on each quadrant. Conceivably toilet implements or perhaps, a pendant. The surface has a dark green/brown patina.

A silver Dobunni 'Eisv Oxo' Silver Unit c. AD 20-43. The obverse has the Triple tailed annulate horse left with pointed arrow between bars above and a pellet below. The reverse has a stylised head right with pellet and ring for the eye, with another pellet and ring with wavy line above. A small copper alloy Roman disc brooch c. 100 - 200 AD. The circular brooch has six triangular segments, each infilled with enamel in opposing green and opposing blue. The third pair of cells are missing their enamel, one has remnants of both blue and green. The outer rim of the brooch has twelve 'cog like' projections and the rear has the remnants of the pin mount and catch plate. The brooch is in fair condition with ferrous staining to the rear surface.

A complete cast lead alloy medieval seal matrix c. 1200 - 1500 AD. In the form of a pointed oval (vesica piscis), with an integrally cast rear suspension loop that then forms a reducing rib down the length of the seal back. The central motif is of a running dear/antelope with the Latin inscription of 'SIGILE SECRETI', literally his secret, or private seal. The seal is in good condition with a mid-green patina with some modest ferrous staining.

A cast copper alloy annular bead, probably of late Iron Age c. 100 BC - 50 AD. The central hole tapers inward from the rim on both sides, to a diameter of 5.3mm. The taper is not equal on each side, both are slightly off centre and one side is reduced from 11mm, whilst the other from 10mm, perhaps a result of hand finishing the object. Otherwise, the bead has a largely circular profile. The surface has a dark brown patina with ferrous like staining and, some modest verdigris spotting.

A cast copper alloy Saxon saucer brooch c. 500 - 600 AD. The broch has a central low boss within a mesh of four lateral 'running leg' motifs, similar to the Horton Kirby II. That is then surrounded by two concentric raised lines, followed by a band of arcading within a further pair of raised concentric lines. The reverse has the remnants of the pin fulcrum and catch-plate. The rim is fritted, and the surface has a mottled green/brown patina.

A copper alloy buckle and plate, probably c. 1500-1650. The 'D' shaped loop with small knops to the ends of the bar, is decorated with a curvy linear pattern on both sides, now heavily worn. The pin is missing but the plate is largely intact, it has a waisted shape with incised scrolling, forming a regular quadrilateral pattern with an iron rivet at the end. A plated copy of a Charles I Silver Half-crown c. 1625 - 1649 AD. The obverse with the King on horseback left and the reverse with near oval, quartered garnished shield. The coin has damage to the edge and is heavily worn and abraded leading to a significant weight loss at just 8.6gm. The wear and damage has obliterating most of the features, given that the scoring is at around 90 degrees to each other, this may have been a deliberate defacing. A complete copper-alloy Roman finger-ring c. 200 - 410 AD. The ring is typical of the Henig Type IX, or Guiraud Type 9a. The hoop has an octagonal outer form with a smooth circular inner. It is undecorated. The depth of the ring is uneven, varying from 3.6mm to 4.3mm with an internal diameter of 18.6mm. the ring has what looks like a small casting fragment still attached, perhaps suggestive of an unfinished item. It has a mid-green patina with some surface erosion. See HAMP-54BEB0

A cast copper alloy incomplete pelta mount from a vessel dating from the Roman period. The surviving piece is in the shape of a semi circle with a central spiked projection (pelta shaped). There is no visible means of attachment but it may have had a loop above the central apex. Similar objects on the PAS database are ESS-A61324, SUSS-EA12D2 and WILT-6F9C36. They are often associated with the military and tend to be given a later 3rd / 4th century date.

A two-tone copper alloy protome in the form of beast/lion head terminal, of uncertain use but probably Roman in date c. 50 - 350 AD. The head depicts a wide open mouth with pronounced canine teeth to the upper and lower jaw. There is then a well-defined, downward curved tongue, forming a clear gap/hole beneath. An Anglo Saxon leaf shaped iron spear head dating c. 500 - 700 AD. The profile, now difficult to see, has a slightly raised midrib to form a flatten diamond shape cross section and the socket, being only around one fifth of the overall length, has probably lost the end section. The end diameter of the socket in 17mm. The spear has extensive corrosion with loss of much of the edge metal, there is a pronounced red and mottled brown surface. An Anglo Saxon iron spearhead, dating to c. 500 - 700 AD. The spear has the typical slender leaf shape distinctive of Swanton C3, or possibly C4. There is a clear mid-rib, forming the lozenge cross section of the blade. The open socket, forming approximately one third of the length, has a diameter of 18mm.
