A possible Middle Saxon copper-alloy pin. The head is bun-shaped, worn, and has a small tab of iron extending from the base that might represent the remains of the shaft. The head is decorated with a moulded tribrach, with a raised circular motif in each angle. The metal has a white/cream appearance, suggestive that this is a lead pin with an iron shank.
