Treasure number 2017 T815: a post-medieval silver-gilt terminal, perhaps for a dress fitting such as a pin. The terminal is formed from two hollow conical elements soldered together. Each cone made from thin silver sheet, and decorated with filigree spirals, mouldings and knops in an architectural manner. Diameter at centre 11 mm, weight: 2.23g. A Middle Saxon copper-alloy pin. The pin has a flattened globular head bearing no decoration. A small collar is situated beneath the head, and from this extends a complete shaft. A slight kink in the shaft is notable approximately two thirds of the way down, presently marked by a band of corrosion. The shaft below this is swollen towards the middle.

A Middle Saxon copper-alloy pin. The head is a faceted cube. All four side panels contain a ringed dot motif, as do the eight facets. The top panel is undecorated. A small collar is situated beneath the head, and from this extends a complete shaft. The shaft is circular in section and has a bend of slightly more than 90 degrees, approximately half way along its length. The shaft after the bend is swollen towards the centre. The terminal is pointed.

Corrosion covers many of the panels, but where the original surface is visible this indicates the head is undecorated. A small collar is located beneath the head. The shank is complete and has a small intentional kink half-way along its length. The centre of the lower half of the shaft is swollen.
