A complete Middle Saxon copper-alloy pin. It has a faceted rectangular cuboid head. The head and shank are worn and mostly covered with iron corrosion. A ringed dot motif is visible on one of the two large faces; all other faces are corroded. There is a small collar beneath the head. The shank is circular in section, straight, and tapers to a point.

A complete Middle Saxon copper-alloy pin. It has a flattened globular head with a small collar beneath it. The shaft has a right angled bend to it approximately 23mm from the head; the shaft then bends at angle downwards, but it is possible that this latter bend is modern damage. The shaft tapers to a point. The bends make it difficult to measure this pin, but it appears to have had a length of around 88mm.

A gilt copper-alloy head from a triple-pin linked set. The head is flat, circular and has a bulbous headed copper-alloy rivet in the centre. The surface of the head is decorated with an intricate geometric design, apparently the same in each quarter, comprising a network of grooves and ridges. Gilding survives within the grooves. A stub of copper-alloy - coated with patches of iron corrosion - extends from the base, indicating where the pin once was. A slight kink in the shaft is notable approximately two thirds of the way down, presently marked by a band of corrosion. The shaft below this is swollen towards the middle.

A small collar is situated beneath the head, and from this extends a complete shaft. The shaft is circular in section and has a bend of slightly more than 90 degrees, approximately half way along its length. The shaft after the bend is swollen towards the centre. The terminal is pointed.
