A Middle Saxon copper-alloy pin. The head is bun-shaped and undecorated. It has a small collar beneath the head. The shaft is complete. It is 3mm in diameter beneath the collar, and has a swelling some 40mm along its length. Thereafter the shaft rapidly tapers to a sharp point.

A possible Middle Saxon copper-alloy pin. The head is bun-shaped, worn, and has a small tab of iron extending from the base that might represent the remains of the shaft. The head is decorated with a moulded tribrach, with a raised circular motif in each angle. The metal has a white/cream appearance, suggestive that this is a lead pin with an iron shank.

A small collar is located beneath the head; the shaft is circular in section and extends from the base. It has a turn of nearly 90 degress beginning some 24mm along its length.
