A long-cylinder shaped glass bead dating to the Anglo-Saxon period. The bead is made of reddish-brown coloured glass with a spiral band of yellow glass. The spiral contains waves of green 'S'-shaped motifs.

A circular seal from a glass bottle. The seal depicts a crowned beaded male bust facing. The face is elongated and has a distincting moustache. To either side of the bust is a laurel leaf or branch. The glass is a light green-colour.

A Roman melon bead made of green glass (circa AD 50- AD 200). A hole passes through the centre. The object was found on a field that has produced material suggestive of a sixth century Anglo-Saxon inhumation cemetery, and so it is possible that this bead was reused in the 6th century.

Fragment of a Roman glass vessel handle. The fragment comprises a flat strip of glass that has been rolled over. The strip is broken as it begins to extend down into the handle. The back of the strip is attached to a curved sheet of glass which represents the remains of the vessel wall.

An elaborate Middle Saxon glass amulet or mount. The object is circular in plan, and plano-convex in section. The body is made of a dark purple/black coloured glass, and is decorated on the domed surface with seven lines of twisted coloured glass radiating from the centre. The area at the centre where they merge is somewhat muddled, suggesting that each of the seven strands were laid in sequence and pushed together at the top. Fragment of glass. The item has no complete edges, but it is flat on both sides. The glass is 2mm thick and all edges reveal fresh breaks. The glass is pale green in colour and has a buff patina. No inclusions are seen in the glass. This item is difficult to date. It could derive from a flat-sided bottle, but is is perhaps more likely to be from a window pane, possibly even a stained glass window.

Approximately one third of an Anglo-Saxon glass bead or spindle whorl, probably used as an amulet. The object was originaly circular in plan and plano-convex in cross-section. It has a circular hole through the centre measuring 7mm diameter. The object is made from opaque, blue/black glass and is decorated with a superficial layer of opaque, white glass combed into an arcaded design in eight fields (probably therefore 16 in total when complete). Fragment of a glass bottle seal. The seal was originally oval however the lower half is missing. The seal depicts a crowned bust facing, with a second larger crown above the head. The male has two curls of hair either side, with a small tear-drop shaped spring of hair below each curl. The crown resembles the Earl's type of crown often seen on other glass bottle seals. Fragment of a glass monochrome globular beaker, probably dating to the late 8th or 9th century. The fragment comprises a section of rim and body. The rim is circular in section and has a pronounced ridge on the interior where it meets the interior wall. On the exterior, the rim blends smoothly with the vessel wall. A conical bi-chrome glass stud slightly taller than it is wide, width 16.5-17.5 mm, height 18mm, on a clay core. The glass is opaque grey to off-white and deep blue, semi-opaque and worked in a feathered pattern and wrapped around a fired clay core, visible at the base. The base diameter would fit a substantial setting and it would have projected for some distance. The top appears quite smooth and unchipped and the whole weighs 6.34g. Fragment of a glass beaker, possibly dating to the Roman period. Only part of the rim survives. The rim is everted with a rounded side. The neck is much narrowed, but the wall is 6mm thick. The colour is turquoise. The form resembles some types of Roman glass beakers, but the glass appears much thicker than these; equally the glass appears to be very solid with few air bubbles or imperfections.

An intaglio, possibly of Roman date. The intaglio is plano-convex and has a shallow rim around the base which indicates that it was once contained within a setting. The intaglio is translucent but has a yellow tint to it, possibly indicating that it is made of glass. The flat circular face of the intaglio has an uncertain motif carved into it. This item was discovered on the Romano-British settlement at Nettleton Top (Willis 2013), however the size, form, and motif of the intaglio is rather unusual for Roman.
