An elaborate Middle Saxon glass amulet or mount. The object is circular in plan, and plano-convex in section. The body is made of a dark purple/black coloured glass, and is decorated on the domed surface with seven lines of twisted coloured glass radiating from the centre. The area at the centre where they merge is somewhat muddled, suggesting that each of the seven strands were laid in sequence and pushed together at the top. Approximately one third of an Anglo-Saxon glass bead or spindle whorl, probably used as an amulet. The object was originaly circular in plan and plano-convex in cross-section. It has a circular hole through the centre measuring 7mm diameter. The object is made from opaque, blue/black glass and is decorated with a superficial layer of opaque, white glass combed into an arcaded design in eight fields (probably therefore 16 in total when complete). A small glass bead dating to the late Iron Age. The bead is of Guido's class 5 'Hanging Langford' type. The bead is circular in plan and the hoop is oval in cross-section. The glass is off-white in colour and almost clear, with patches of yellow on either side.

Glass bead of Brugmann's 'Dot34' type. The bead is circular with a flat top and bottom. The body is made from creamy white glass, and decorated with two alternating rows of brown pellets with a wavy line of blue glass enclosing each pellet. Diameter 18 mm, thickness 12 mm. Brugmann dates Dot34 to her Phase B, c. 550-650 AD.
