A medieval copper alloy belt mount. The mount is pointed oval, domed, and has an integral stud in the centre of the reverse. The stud is square in section and tapers to a point.

A Roman copper alloy mount, possibly from a vessel, in the form of a sitting bird. The bird is three dimensional and has a plump pointed oval body which rises to a narrow neck and small head. The head is worn and no features are visible. A slender tapering tail of circular section extends vertically from the back and then turns 90 degrees to the rear. An incomplete integral loop extends below.
