A lead alloy or pewter flanged dish of probable late Roman date. Description The dish is fragmented but is nearly a complete vessel. A gilded lead object in the form of the bust of a youthful male, possibly a cherub. The object is probably a livery badge, though no fittings are visible on the reverse. The badge is flat and shows the figure facing straight on. He has curly hair and a rounded face with a similing mouth. The figure wears a Roman-style tunic swept across one shoulder. Along the bottom edge is a rope-like border as commonly seen on livery badges. The badge probably dates to the eighteenth or nineteenth century. The reverse is undecorated and flat.

Possible horse harness boss. The boss is made out of a lead alloy and is flat, circular and has a composite enamelled roundel in the centre. The roundel is circular and has an outer ring of degraded ?blue enamel, with an interior of degraded ?green enamel. The perimeter of the roundel is decorated with twelve triangular cells containing ?blue enamel. The triangles probably mimick the rays of the sun. There are two incomplete circular studs on the reverse. The date of this object is uncertain, but probably early Post-Medieval.
