A late Roman copper alloy barbarous radiate dating 275-85. The obverse depicts a crude radiate head right. The reverse is very worn but possibly depicts sacrificial implements. This suggests the coin is copying an issue of Tetricus II, dating to c. AD 275-285. Reece period 14. Reverse: PIETAS AVGVSTOR, sacrificial implements (sprinkler, simpulum, jug and lituus). Prototype as Normanby 1543.

A medieval copper alloy strap end. The strap end is formed by two sheets of copper alloy riveted by a copper alloy rivet at both ends. The strap end is rectangular with a trefoil terminal. The plate is decorated on one side only by an incised cross made of a pair of zig-zag lines.

Fragment of a copper alloy spear head dating from the Middle Bronze Age, about 1550 - 1250 BC. It probably can be assigned to Davis's Group 6 'Developed side looped' type (Davis 2017). It has a narrow blade measuring 44mm in length and 18mm in width. The tip is missing and the break is very worn and patinated suggesting it broke in antiquity; the base of the fragment also shares the same patina. Most of the spear head is missing. An incomplete cast copper alloy Colchester brooch. The brooch is made from the one piece of metal. The brooch has a bilateral spring with an external chord held by a forward facing hook. The spring is hidden behind two flat, rectangular wings. The bow is comma shaped in profile and oval in section. The catchplate is missing. The bow is worn, but appears to have vertical lines. Date circa AD40-60.

An incomplete cast copper alloy headstud brooch of Roman date. The wings are rectangular and ribbed, and cover a circular casing on the reverse that contains the pin bar. A fragment of the hinged pin survives. The bow is comma shaped in profile and has a moulded stud on the top. The stud is decorated with two concentric circles. The lower bow is incomplete but was decorated with two rows of triangular cells of red enamel. Brooches of this type date from the 1st-2nd century AD.

An incomplete cast copper alloy bow and fantail brooch of Roman date. The head and pin are missing. The brooch has a circular frame with open centre at the top of the bow, leading into a flat, fantail terminal. The fantail contains a sub-triangular cell containing red enamel. An incomplete catchplate is located on the reverse. Brooches of this type date from the 1st-2nd century AD. Similar examples can be seen in Hattatt, p.315, fig.174.

A late medieval lead ampulla. The ampulla is of the standard flask shape. Only the circular chamber survives. A feint moulded star motif is possibly visible on one side; the other side is worn. Traces of a side lug are visible on both shoulders. The neck-line appears to have been cut with a knife and then prized open to release the contents. Circa 1400-1500.
