An incomplete lead alloy possible figurative mount probably dating to the post medieval period.
The object is now broken into two pieces. The first fragment is sub-triangular in shape and decorated with a moulded human face. The face consists of thick eyebrows above recessed eyes. The nose is thin and raised, and a gaped mouth is represented by two curved lines. There is a thick, raised beard either side of the mouth. The reverse is worn, damaged and slightly concave.
