A Medieval lead alloy incomplete pilgrim badge from the head reliquary of Thomas Becket, Canterbury, dating to the first half of the 14th century. The badge has a large central bust of Thomas Becket surrounded by small supporting figures all within a circular frame. One of the supporting figures is broken but still present, some of the scroll openwork decoration is broken and missing. The fragment includes a section of the globular body and one handle that has been stamped with ISHERMF(ecit); the HE and the MF are ligated. An incomplete early post medieval ceramic tobacco pipe dating AD1580-1610. This tobacco pipe has a small, rounded bowl, which has an internal diameter of 9.29mm. The bowl is set at an oblique angle to the stem and there is a rouletted design running around the rim. There is a flat, circular heel at the junction between the bowl and the stem with a maker's mark in the centre. The maker's mark appears to be a shell with a pellet to each side of the base. A fragment of a medieval stone lamp mortar produced late 13th - early 14th century but would have continued in use for much longer. This fragment comprises one lug and part of the rim from the lamp. The upper section of the lug has a rounded cross-section that changes to conical approximately half way down its length. This rounded section extends around the mortar forming a collar that is carved with repeated vertical ridge and grooves. A post medieval bone ring probably dating to the 17th century. This bone is a cut ring from the femur of a sheep. There are linear cut marks on the surface created by a knife as part of the butchering process. Both ends of the bone have been sawn, again as part of the butchering process. Alan Pipe said that a knife would be used to separate the muscle from the bone and to mark the bone ahead of sawing. A fragment of a Roman glass vessel with wooden bung dating AD43-410. The vessel has a collar just below the rim. The rim is entirely broken and missing as is everything below the collar. The glass is green and has been hand blown. The upper surface of the collar and the section of neck just above it is cracked and roughened. The wooden bung is a solid cylinder that has impressions from where it fitted into the neck of the vessel. The wood has shrunk slightly and is now a loose fit. Dimensions: diameter of collar: 55.58mm; diameter of bung: 39.44mm; length of bung: 61.69mm; weight: 344g.

A post medieval ceramic tin glazed earthernware ointment jar dating early 17th - 18th century. This ointment jar has a rounded body and flaring foot and rim, creating a symmetrical profile. There is a clear glaze covering the external and internal surfaces that has become partially discoloured due to the Thames mud. There is a little damage to the foot and rim but the pot is almost complete. A post medieval lead alloy toy cannon dated AD1636. This toy cannon is a muzzle-loader and has a cascabel button at the back, the base, vent and muzzle rings are cast in relief. There is a linear border above and below each of the rings. The chase tapers towards the muzzle, which then flares out with a relief muzzle ring. An incomplete medieval silver iconographic finger ring dating AD 1400 to 1500. The finger ring has a sub-rectangular bezel with two faces and a triangular section. Each face of the bezel has some decoration but the surface of the ring makes it impossible to see the detail. The band of the finger ring is decorated with a stamped pattern; the triangular section of the bezel continues on the shoulder with a stamped foliate pattern which then changes, the cross-section becomes a flattened D-shape and the decoration is a diagonal beaded pattern creating a twisted appearance. The frame is stepped in from both the inner and outer edge to create the recess. The frame widens towards the side opposite the recess (width: 7.01mm to 8.52mm). A fragment of a Roman copper alloy Colchester two-piece brooch dating to the 1st century AD. Only the foot and the catch-plate remain of this brooch. The foot has a D-shaped cross-section and is not decorated and there is no foot-knob. The catchplate had two circular perforations through it. The perforations follow the line of the ffoot. A brooch with a very similar foot and catch-plate is recorded on the Portable Antiquities Scheme database - HAMP-F227F3. Dimensions: length: 19.26mm; weight: 1.28g.
