A lead ampulla with both lugs complete. On one face there is a scallop shell of Spencer 1971, Type II. On the other, below two transverse lines, a crowned W, probably for Walsingham, but may also signify Virgo Virginum (Virgin of Virgins). The crown is for Mary, queen of Heaven. The ampulla has a number of tranverse cracks on each face in the upper portion but is otherwise complete.
