A lead Medieval seal matrix dating from about AD 1200 - 1400. It is ovoid in plan (as opposed to the more usual pointed oval pointed at both ends) and the central motif is a possible bullrush or distaff, crossed with two lines with the upper end bifid and curved, forming a cross saltire (X), and a horizontal line, forked and scrolling at each end. The legend reads: "+ SIGIL . RICARDI . RV(A)RD" (seal of Richard ?Ruard). The inscription is separated from the central motif by a single line border. A lead Medieval seal matrix dating from about AD 1200 - 1400. It is a pointed oval in plan and the central motif is a cross with a short angled line in each angle. The legend reads: "+ S' MICHAEL' CISSO[-]" (seal of Michael ?Cisso[-]). The inscription is separated from the central motif by a single line border, but the matrix face is very worn and rounded, and this line is not visible everywhere. The reverse is plain. The matrix is 34.1mm long, 21.9mm wide and 4.3mm thick. 15.53g.

An incomplete copper alloy seal matrix of pointed oval shape dating from the Medieval period, AD 1200 - 1400. It is very worn, both the central design and the surrounding legend being largely illegible. The central design is possibly that of the pelican in its piety. (compare SOM-3E3F02, which has a much better image). The reverse of the matrix carries the remains of a pierced suspension loop at one end, now broken away and largely missing. It is 26.2mm long, 16.4mm wide and 3.6mm thick. It weighs 3.36gm. The legend is mainly illegible, the only letters being visible are :[...]LISE[...]
