A Post medieval lead token or perhaps an imitation seal, of Post Medieval date, AD 1650 - 1900. It is circular and has a design in relief on both faces. One face has a monogram of the letters MHL or HML in a tressure of four lobes, surrounded by a beaded border. The other face has a square topped shield embellished with scrolls at the top and sides. A Post Medieval copper alloy cast spherical (or crotal) bell dating from about AD 1500-1750. Only a fragment of the lower part of the bell remains; it has a fish scale design with no maker's mark on the surviving part. The bell measures 32.3mm long, 22.3mm wide and 1.9mm thick. 9.4g. A complete cast copper-alloy circular ring, probably a harness ring, dating from the Medieval to Post-medieval period, about AD 1100 - 1700. The sub-circular ring is hexagonal in cross-section and has a varying width across the frame. The object has a dark grey patina and there are visible filemarks. Measurements are; 26.6mm diameter, 20.6mm inetrnal diameter, 2.4mm thick and 2.7g. An incomplete post-medieval cast tinned copper-alloy double loop asymmetrical buckle with moulded decoration, dating from about AD 1575-1700. Only the trapezoid loop survives. The back surface of the buckle is flat, but the front is bevelled. The central strap bar has a small moulded knop at each end. The trapezoid loop is decorated with a moulded, scalloped outer edge which is divided into six rounded lobes. The pin is missing from the strap bar. A worked bone probable weft beater (or pin beater) of Early Medieval to Medieval date, about AD 700 - 1200, or another similar pointed tool such as a stylus. It is a straight piece of bone, sub-rectangular in plan and oval in cross-section. One end is a worn break. The other end tapers to a blunt central point. A copper alloy Medieval buckle; a single looped D shaped buckle of Meols type 2, dating from AD 1250 - 1350. The outer edge is expanded, and there is a knop at each end of the bar. The frame is distorted. The pin and plate are missing. The patina is corroded and rough. It is 23.1mm long, 24.1mm wide and 5.1mm thick. 3.6g. The maximum width of the strap is about 19mm.

A flint backed blade of probable Mesolithic to Neolithic date, 9000 BC - 2200 BC. It is a patinated secondary D shaped flake which is triangular in cross-section. The curved edge is thick and has some cortex surviving. The straight egde has invasive low angle  scaled retouch from both faces to form a cutting edge. The flint is mottled yellow grey and is patinated. The knife is 70.2mm long, 36.5mm wide and 14.2mm thick. 36g.

A flint core of probable Neolithic date 4000 BC - 2200 BC. It is a patinated tertiary chunk which is piriform in plan and D shaped in cross-section. It is an irregular core with two striking platforms at right angles to each other. One is at the pointed distal end. The other is the flat ventral face from which the removals forming the rounded proximal end have been worked. The core produced flakes. It is sub-rectangular with convex side and a pointed distal end. There are parallel removals along the dorsal face. The right edge is damaged, but may have been retouched. A small area of undamaged retouch survives on the left side near the distal end. It is short, abrupt sub-parallel retuch. The flint is patinated to white and is 52.2mm long, 21.7mm wide and 6.4mm thick. 8.4g.

A ceramic vessel fragment; a base and wall sherd of Roman greyware dating from AD 43 - 410. The fabric is hard, fine and dark grey in the core, but lighter grey to buff on the outer faces with an area of orange. It has frequent well sorted angular quartz inclusions. The base has a diameter of 180mm and about 12% of the perimeter survives. The wall is at an angle of about 70 degrees from the base. The sherd is 85.1mm long, 32.8mm high and the base is 14.2mm thick while the wall is 10.3mm thick. 65.5g.
