A leg probably from a cooking vessel such as a cauldron, dating from the Medieval to Post-Medieval period, about AD 1100 - 1850. The leg is D shaped in cross section, flat at the front, and terminates in a massive rounded paw like foot. The width flares from 26.8mm to 49.2mm at the foot. The base has dark patches indicating sooting. It is 51.2mm long and weighs 420g. The foot does not match any examples in Butler, Green and Payne (2009), but must have been from a substantial vessel or other piece of furniture.

A Medieval pointed oval silver seal matrix dating from AD 1200 - 1350. The die face has the legend +S' ROGERI: DE HELLESSAY (Seal of Roger of Hellessay) suggesting that this is a personal matrix. The lettering is in neat lombardic script and is flanked by beaded borders. The central design is a profile bust of a man facing left on the impression. An incomplete copper alloy object, probably a fish hook of uncertain date (Roman to post-medieval, AD 43-1800), sub-circular in cross-section (2.3mm maximum diameter) with an old break at one end while the other curves back on itself and tapers to a point. The upper part of the hook is faceted. There are traces of what appears to be a white metal coating at the attachment end too. The hook is 16.3mm long, 12mm wide and 2.3mm thick. 0.5g. A complete but bent silver bodkin dating from AD 1600 - 1700. It is inscribed with the initials E W in upper care, Roman style, seriffed letters positioned about half way along. The bodkin has a pear shaped scoop at one end. The narrow end extends from the narrow end of a drop shaped terminal which has a drop shaped hole through it. Two grooves across the shaft mark the end of the terminal. The rest of the bodkin is a flat rectangle in cross-section and is undecorated apart from the incised letters.
