Copper alloy nummus, possibly a contemporary copy, of the House of Constantine, dating to c. AD 330/1 or later (Reece Period 17). This is a hybrid issue with the obverse CONSTANTINOPOLIS / Helmeted bust left, with the reverse Wolf and Twins. Mint of Trier. RIC VII, p. 214, cf. nos. 523 (obv) and 522 (rev). The coin is quite small at 14mm diameter. Although it is of good style, it is possibly a contemporary copy. Image provided by Finder.
