A complete cast copper-alloy crescentic-shaped composite strap-end of medieval date (c. 1400 – c. 1450 AD; Geake 2001, 32). The object comprises a sub-circular frame forming a cresentic shape with an elaborate sub-triangular outside edge in the form of a terminal. The artefact has a flat reverse face. The circular part of the frame is pierced with an off-centre oval opening. The moulded terminal is openwork and features twelve perforations arranged symmetrically around a central rib. A corroded and incomplete cast copper-alloy Colchester brooch dating to the late Iron Age to early Roman period, c. 25-65 AD. An one-piece example, the head has suffered considerable damage with the wings, rearward hook and spring surviving only in very small parts. The brooch decreases from a thickness of 11.45mm at the head to 4mm at the bow. At the catchplate end the brooch tapers to a sharp point. The catchplate itself is highly abraded. The artefact has corroded to a red-brown colour.

A corroded but complete cast copper-alloy post-medieval plain double-looped buckle frame with surviving pin. It is trapezoidal, with a flat lower face and an upper face bevelled both internally and externally. This gives the frame a trapezoidal cross-section. The pin bar extends beyond the edge of the frame and terminates at each end with a rounded knopped protrusion. The pin is of looped construction. Viewed in profile one can see that the buckle is bent. Similar buckles can be found illustrated in Whitehead (1996, 82; refs. 506, 507, 509).
