A fragment of a Bronze Age cast copper-alloy socketed spearhead. The fragment is now sub-trapezoidal in plan, with breaks at both ends and at the socket. The surviving fragment is broadly triangular in cross section, in full it whould have been broadly lozengiform in cross-section. The edge is abraded and slightly bent. The metal has a variable dark-green patina with some pitting and small patches of lighter corrosion product. Unfortunately with so much of the artefact missing, it is very difficult to tell the phase of the Middle/Late Bronze Age to which it belongs.

A Post-Medieval silver incomplete combined earscoop and bodkin. At one end, an earscoop, attached to a triangular section with central hole for suspension, attached to a rectangular section decorated on either side with a flowerhead. This is attached to two separate lengths of metal, the ends now broken off. The two lengths of metal would have originally been attached to a second rectangular section, terminating in a long shaft with blunt end.

The blade from a broken Late Bronze Age cast copper-alloy socketed axe. The cutting edge survives in full, with a minor old chip just off centre, in addition to part of the body defined by roughly straight cut. The damage means that only the end of the socket is visible. The surviving cross-section is sub-rectangular, with the sides expanding out towards the blade end. The fragment is triangular in profile, tapering from the body to the cutting edge. This artefact appears to be a gold-plated silver denarius of the Roman Empress Faustina, which has been mounted for suspension with a silver staple and loop, with the staple attached to the loop with two rivets. Roman coins were quite commonly re-used as pendants in the early Anglo-Saxon period, either simply pierced for suspension or with an attached loop. Occasional gold-plated coin pendants are known from this period. However, this does not appear to be a genuine early medieval artefact, for a number of reasons. An incomplete cast copper-alloy non zoomorphic Roman buckle of Hawkes and Dunning type IIB. The buckle is broadly rectangular in cross section. There is a raised ridge across the plate. From the front edge projects a curved portion of the frame which ends in an old break. The inner portion forms a scrolled shape. A complete Medieval cast copper-alloy enameled quatrefoil harness pendant. The suspension loop is at 90 degrees to the face, there is iron corrosion visible within the suspension loop. The pendant is a simple quatrefoil in plan. The front face is decorated with a central red enameled sexfoil which has an undecorated central circular recess. Four sets of trefoils expand from the sexfoil into the concave expansions of the quatrefoul, each terminal of the trefoils have a slight circular expansion at their tip. The oval frame has a central, pointed lip and curved recess on the inner face which is unfinished and extends into the frame. A cast copper-alloy post-medieval umbonate bridle-boss probably dating to the 16th - 17th century. In form the boss is an elaborate sexfoil, with small pointed protrusions between each rounded part. A pair of extremely worn and corroded copper-alloy Roman coins: either 3rd-century radiate or 4th-century nummi of uncertain emperor, reverse and mint (c. 260 - c. 402 AD). The largest has a diameter of 16.15mm, while the smallest is only 11.35mm; a combined weight is given below. It seems possible that the smaller coin is a 'barbarous radiate' and can tentatively be dated between c. 275 and c. 285 AD (Reece issue period 14).
