A broken and incomplete cast copper-alloy cooking vessel leg/foot of medieval or post-medieval date. The leg is broadly sub-rectangular in plan and in cross section is is broadly trapezoidal. The break is old as yellow/green corrosion product covers the break. The base of the foot is sub-trapezoidal with the narrowest edge forming the reverse side. The leg and foot is undecorated on the outer face, there is a horizontal ribbed projection running up the length of the artefact. The surface of the leg has a mottled light-green patina. A complete cast copper-alloy S-shaped belt hook fastener of late post-medieval to modern date (AD 1700-2000). One end of the fastener terminates in a snake's head while the other terminates in the form of a snake's tail. The fastener has moulded decoration in the form of small pellets which probably were intended to represent scales.
