A corroded but complete cast copper-alloy zoomorphic horse-harness pendant of medieval date. The form of the artefact is possibly that of a stag's head. The suspension loop has been slightly bent at an angle on one side and there is evidence of iron corrosion within the loop. Characteristically it is set at ninety degrees to the body of the pendant, and is set forwards of the body. The upper surface is decorated with a depiction of a facing animal's head. A worn and incomplete Roman cast plate brooch of 2nd-century date. This flat brooch has an annular body with circular open centre (Dia.: 8.9mm). At the cardinal points are four protrusions which have suffered differing levels of abrasion. On the lower surface on the two complete, opposing protrusions are, respectively, the abraded catch-plate and the perforated, semi-circular double pin lug.
