An incomplete and bent cast copper alloy buckle of medieval date. The artefact consists of a single looped sub-oval buckle with two knops on either side of the loop, one situated at either end where the loop joins with the outer edge, the other situated at either end of the pin bar. The buckle is 15.85mm in length, 16.6mm wide. The outer edge is broadly triangular in cross section and has been decorated with four incisions, two located at either edge where the outer edge joins with the loop and two located at the recess for the pin. An incomplete cast copper-alloy zoomorphic Roman plate brooch in the form of a horse and rider. The majority of the brooch survives, the pin is missing and the rider is missing. The horse, which is galloping to the right is well defined with a small head and a dot for the eye. The tail is docked and below the knee the hind leg has also been lost. An incomplete copper-alloy Roman chatelaine plate brooch. It is missing much of the plate, the catch plate, suspension bar, one bar lug and the pin due to old breaks. The plate has been bent backwards and has a crack running adjacent to the domed central conical knop. The surviving portion is sub-rectangular in plan.
