A medieval gold finger-ring, of slightly stirrup-shaped form. The hoop, of D-shaped section, widens at the shoulders and thickens at the bezel. The stone is now missing from the oval-shaped setting. The ring is slightly distorted. Maximum diameter: 20mm. The ring probably dates to the 13th century.

A fragment of a medieval silver-gilt finger-ring. Only the bezel and a small section of the hoop survive. The bezel is circular, and conical in section with slightly concave sides. The stone is now missing. The gilding survives on the upper surfaces. Traces of engraved decoration survive on the hoop. Maximum length: 17.5mm. Diameter of the bezel: 12mm. The ring probably dates to the late 12th or 13th century.

A post-medieval gold finger ring which is formed through a series of vertical rectangles, each keyed to recieve enamel which survives in tiny amounts. Inside is an inscription stating "If you regard its' my reward:" However several letters are cut off at the top and bottom of the hoop, suggesting that the ring must have once been a simple straight-edged hoop, and has been cut down at a later date, perhaps to provide gold for other purposes.

A crudely made post-medieval gold finger ring. The hoop is circular and narrows towards the bottom; it is curved in cross-section with the inside of the hoop concave. The square raised bezel has a female portrait facing left, and incuse lettering to either side: the letters appear to be 'RICI' to the left, and 'VI' to the right. Analysis has shown that the ring is composed of 22 carat gold and the ring was reported under the Treasure Act 1996. This is a very heavy ring, with a flat octofoil bezel and square section hoop, angled at the shoulders. The back of the hoop inscribed ROBERT and the side at the back inscribed DUX. It is a puzzling ring as it seems to have borrowed features from earlier periods but the general shape and design has no pre-1706 parallels and the general consensus of opinion is that it is likely to be of relatively recent manufacture.

A medieval silver-gilt finger-ring set with a clear stone (probably rock-crystal). The back of the hoop is cabled and the shoulders left plain apart from a central groove which widens into a spandrel occupied by a simple foliate motif. The bezel is raised and moulded into a pie-crust form to simulate the petals of a flower. The finger-ring is silver-gilt and dates from the late fifteenth or early sixteenth centuries.

An incomplete copper-alloy enameled finger-ring of Roman date. The upper surface of the bezel contains an oval setting in a quatrefoil which defines four lozengeform cells with a central circular cell. Three of the lozengeform cells retain traces of red enamel. The shoulders taper smoothly into the hoop, the majority of which is missing.

A cast copper-alloy finger ring of probable Medieval date. It is missing its setting, but is otherwise complete. The hoop is oval shaped in section and expands to a sub-triangular bezel. There are three circular recesses within the oval bezel, presumably to hold either paste or a setting, the setting is missing. A post-medieval silver broad hoop finger-ring with central raised band within sunken channels, the raised part engraved with geometric decoration and bordered by a dotted line above and below; the inside gilt, the exterior partially gilt. Engraved on the interior is a letter 'T'. There are no precise parallels in the BM, but there is a 15th-century tradition of broad hooped rings with similar central bands within sunken channels and it seems reasonable to see this as a continuation of that tradition. A broken strip of gold, possibly from a finger ring, possibly intended to be used as bullion. The inner surface is smooth, whilst the outer has a series of mouldings. These include two opposed possible snake heads on either side of a flat oval section (the bezel?), and other crude rectangular block motifs. There are also a series of file marks along one of the edges, which do not appear to be ancient.

A Roman silver finger ring, with rounded hoop and flattened bezel. The bottom of the hoop is decorated with two parallel lines of punched dots, which continue up the expanded triangular shoulders which are decorated with additional incised lines and triangular mouldings. The rectangular bezel is undecorated.
