An Early to Middle Bronze Age (1800 - 1400 BC) copper alloy dirk or dagger. Ogival blade expanded centrally. The butt is trapezoid in form with shoulders that curve inwards to the narrow blade. Two rivet holes to the bottom of either side would secure the hilt in place, both of which still retains its rivet; the rivet is 11.5mm long with a 7.4mm diameter and has a slightly expanded domed head at either terminal. Medieval or post-medieval copper alloy knife or dagger scabbard chape dating 1200-1600AD. The chape is triangular in form and oval in cross section. It is formed from a sheet of copper alloy to create a cone shaped chape with folded, rounded tip. The closed end of the chape has been formed by cutting the sheet into triangles and pressing them shut. There is some damage at this end resulting in the loss of some of the closure. A complete copper-alloy Roman penannular brooch, dating to the period AD 43 - 410. It is circular, measuring 27.11mm in diameter and has a thickness of 2.34mm. The frame is round in section with tightly coiled terminals, which fold back on themselves at right angles to the plane of the ring and terminate in rounded knops. The pin is intact, undecorated and curls under the frame. It measures 2.88mm wide at this cuff, tapering inwards in width until a point, measuring 33.02mm in length. In total, the brooch weighs 4.6g. A complete ground or polished stone axehead of Neolithic date, c. 4000-2500 BC made from an igneous greenstone. The axe is in very good condition and is complete apart from a post-depositional damage of a large flake removal on one face, some crushing of the cutting edge and a small chip broken from the narrow end. The axe has a smooth ground surfaces with both edges heavily ground to a rounded profile.
