A pierced silver commonwealth half groat, AD 1649-1660. Obverse shows a single shield bearing the cross of St George surrounded by foliage of laurel and palm (tbc). No Obverse legend. Reverse shows two conjoined shields, one bearing the cross of St George and the other an Irish harp, .II. above with a dot border. No Reverse legend. A complete copper-alloy Roman penannular brooch, dating to the period AD 43 - 410. It is circular, measuring 27.11mm in diameter and has a thickness of 2.34mm. The frame is round in section with tightly coiled terminals, which fold back on themselves at right angles to the plane of the ring and terminate in rounded knops. The pin is intact, undecorated and curls under the frame. It measures 2.88mm wide at this cuff, tapering inwards in width until a point, measuring 33.02mm in length. In total, the brooch weighs 4.6g. A complete ground or polished stone axehead of Neolithic date, c. 4000-2500 BC made from an igneous greenstone. The axe is in very good condition and is complete apart from a post-depositional damage of a large flake removal on one face, some crushing of the cutting edge and a small chip broken from the narrow end. The axe has a smooth ground surfaces with both edges heavily ground to a rounded profile.
