A silver annular brooch that has a semicircular cross-section frame with a constriction to one side to mount the pin. The frame is decorated with four animal heads that are arranged into two set. The first group is bordering the constriction bar with the two heads facing each other and the bar in between. Each head has a raised, square cranium with pellet eyes in the two froward faceted corners and upwardly projecting knop ears above the rear two corners. Roman copper alloy brooch that is a hybrid between a Polden Hill and a Wirral style. The pin mounting is in the polden Hill style, consisting of rearward facing lugs on either end of the wings that would have held the pin axis bar which is now missing. The bow of the brooch is in the Wirral style and consists of a double rectangular cell covering the top quarter, which contains traces of a red or orange enamel. Two angled low protrusions flank the apex of the bow and a shallow double grove running down the centre of the lower half completes the decoration. Date 75-175AD

A small gold annular brooch dating to the 13th-14th century. Circular frame that has a constriction bar on one side for the pin, which is now missing. Copper alloy brooch of Colchester derivative, Polden Hill dating AD 75-200. It has rearward facing lugs on either end of the wings that would have held the pin axes bar, but one wing is truncated resulting in the loss of the axe bar, spring and pin. The head of the bow has a tapering triangular panel with expanded shoulders. In the centre of the head is a crest with a loop at the back that would have held the external cord of the spring. the remainder of the bow is undecorated and the catch plate on the reverse is complete.

Roman copper alloy trumpet brooch that has an oval head plate surmounted by a truncated loop. On the reverse are two rearward facing perforated lug that would have held the spring support bar which is now missing. A gilded copper alloy disc brooch of possible Scandinavian origin dating to the period c.AD850 - 950. Copper alloy Bow and Fantail type brooch with a Polden Hill style spring mount. This has rearward facing lugs (both now broken) on either end of the wings that would have held the spring axes bar. On the top of the head is a broken loop that would have held the external cord of the spring. On the front of the head are two projecting rectangular tabs that have upturned corners. Below the fantail expands outwards and is decorated with a central double grove and surrounded by a border. The catch plate on the reverse is complete.

An incomplete Roman copper alloy plate brooch, probably dating to c. AD 100-200. The brooch consists of a sub-lozenge shaped plate that has projecting roundels at the tip of each corner, the face is covered with a large, raised boss that is shaped to depict a human face, this has a slot mouth, recessed eyes and a pointed triangular nose.  On the reverse the boss is concave with a double lug mount for the pin (the pin is missing), opposite would be the catchplate but this is also missing. cf.
