Obverse, Crowned shield with three fleur-de-lis, with a crowned fleur-de-lis on either side, all contended within a circular border. Reverse, worn. Mid brown colour, the surface is worn, obscuring much of the detail, particularly from the reverse. This is a French coin weight for the ecu, first issued in 1475. This style of weight would date to the 16th century.

Copper-alloy disc brooch, length 41mm, width 39mm, thickness 11mm, weight 13.32g. The brooch is a slightly uneven oval, made from sheet copper alloy only 1mm thick. Running around the circumference of the face is an incised line 3mm from the edge; there is also a ring and dot in the centre. All have been cut or carved into the surface.
