A copper-alloy circular trade weight. This has a central recessed pellet with grooved line running near the outside edge. A Lombardic 'h' surmounted by a weakly struck crown in positioned towards the lower side. This mark was instituted by Henry VII in 1495 and lasted into the reign of his son, Henry VIII (Biggs 1992, 48).

Lead votive model axe that has an overall wedge shape, the blade of the axe is angled and there us a small rectangular slot in the opposite wider end. The axe has been formed from a sheet of lead that has been folded in two, with the seam is near the blade. Small axes are the most common miniature votive artefact found of roman religious site and temples with examples found at the shrines at Uley, Lydney and Nettleton Shrub. For similar examples on the PAS database, cf. LEIC-751012; FAKL-B0C080; for copper alloy versions: NMS-B80741; NMS-796911.

Two fragments of earthenware the largest is length 88mm, width 80mm, thickness 9mm. These are two fragments of Ham Green ware this has a buff outer surface and a grey core, there are limestone and quartz inclusions. That largest piece would be from the top of a jug, there are vertical ridges with zigzag comb decoration in between, the outside has a green glaze. Date 1150-1300.

Copper alloy vessel escutcheon with hooked back plate. The main panel of the escutcheon consists of a thick rectangular plate (5mm thick) with concave sides; this has been decorated with seven v-shaped notches on the topside of the bottom edge. In the centre of the plate is a moulded human facemask in high-relief; the facemask is a long elongated oval with hair on the top edge shown as three curving recessed bands each of which contain a line of pellets. ~~An incomplete copper alloy moustache-like object probably dating from the Middle Bronze Age to Middle Iron Age (1500-300 BC). This has a hollow bulbous body one end of which narrows to a fine point giving an overall tear drop shape. To the side of the wider end is a hole 9mm long by 5mm wide. The wider body of the object has fine latitudinal lines the run around its circumference with only the pointed tip remaining undecorated. An incomplete post-Medieval cast copper-alloy toy musket. Length 49mm, width 7mm, thickness 19mm, weight 18.39g. The butt and muzzle are truncated. Guns of this type were based on the match-lock 'petronels' of the 16th and 17th centuries, and were fully working models. This gun is possibly an Egan and Forsyth's Type 2 dated 1600-1640 (Egan and Forsyth, 2005, Toys, Trifles and Trinkets, Museum of London, page 92). Forsyth, H. and Egan, G., 2005. An incomplete thin lead alloy toy doll of Post-Medieval date, c. 1500-1700. The remaining fragment consists of the torso of a male and the top of the left arm. The figure is depicted wearing a doublet that is decorated with a cross-hatch pattern in relief, the front of the double is open and shown to be laced down the front by two opposing zigzag lines. Cast copper alloy toggle length 21mm, width 7mm, thickness 11mm, weight 4.3g. This is a bar with an expanded central section that has a recessed band in the middle that runs around its circumference. Copper alloy thimble. The outside of the thimble is decorated with irregularly hand drilled circular indentations that spiral up towards the top of the domed cap with a double linear band rounds around the base of the thimble. This artefact dates to 1350-1500. Similar examples are illustrated in E. F. Holmes' 'Sewing Thimbles', Finds Research Group 700-1700 Datasheet 9.
