Silver three pence of Elizabeth I Date to 1575 Obverse: crowned bust facing left, rose behind [ELIZABETH D G ANG FR ET HIB REGINA] Reverse: shield with the royal coat of arms divided by a long cross 1575 above [POSUI DEU ADIVTOTEM] MEU Mintmark: Eglantine. There is a hole pierced at 1 o'clock of the obverse, just above the queens crown.

Copper alloy belt hook probably from a sword belt. This is a U-shaped bar, one arm of the U has been bent round to form a rectangular pennanular loop. The other arm I straight and extend above the loop where it terminates in a short inwards projecting angled bar. This artefact dates to the 15th-16th century, M J Cuddeford in Identifying Metallic Small Finds (p. 38, No. 55)

Copper alloy pierced roman coin that is heavily worn resulting in the loss of all the detail from both the obverse and reverse. This is either a radiate or nummus, uncertain emperor dated to AD260-400 [...], no detail remains / [...], no detail remains. There is a large pierced hole (4mm diameter) to the edge of the coin.

Copper alloy hooked strap fitting/sword belt fitting. The plate is triangular in plan with a concave underside. The top edge has a V-shape notch in the centre, the sides taped down to the penannular rolled hook that would have held a loop. There are two rivet holes on the plate. Two close parallels for this object are noted in Margeson 1993 'Norwich Households: Medieval and Post-Medieval Finds from Norwich Survey Excavations 1971-78'. 38, refs: 257-258. These objects are dated to the 16th or 17th centuries and Margeson notes that they were probably associated with sword belts or …

A slightly squished copper alloy thimble. The outside of the thimble is decorated with irregularly hand drilled circular indentations that spiral up towards the top of the domed cap, A single linear band rounds around the base of the thimble. This artefact dates to 1350-1500. Similar examples are illustrated in E. F. Holmes' 'Sewing Thimbles', Finds Research Group 700-1700 Datasheet 9.
