Copper alloy vessel escutcheon with hooked back plate. The main panel of the escutcheon consists of a thick rectangular plate (5mm thick) with concave sides; this has been decorated with seven v-shaped notches on the topside of the bottom edge. In the centre of the plate is a moulded human facemask in high-relief; the facemask is a long elongated oval with hair on the top edge shown as three curving recessed bands each of which contain a line of pellets. The eyebrows forms a transverse line with the simple rectangular nose projecting downwards, this divides the facemask in the centre.…

Cast copper alloy vessel fragments length 42mm, width 44mm, thickness 3.5mm, weight 27.89g. These are two wall fragments possibly from two different vessels perhaps a caldron or large posnet. One is plain and the other has two raised bands, suggesting that these. Date 1350-1850.

Two fragments of earthenware the largest is length 88mm, width 80mm, thickness 9mm. These are two fragments of Ham Green ware this has a buff outer surface and a grey core, there are limestone and quartz inclusions. That largest piece would be from the top of a jug, there are vertical ridges with zigzag comb decoration in between, the outside has a green glaze. Date 1150-1300.
