A copper-alloy circular trade weight. This has a central recessed pellet with grooved line running near the outside edge. A Lombardic 'h' surmounted by a weakly struck crown in positioned towards the lower side. This mark was instituted by Henry VII in 1495 and lasted into the reign of his son, Henry VIII (Biggs 1992, 48).

A Lead powder measure. the measure has two small attachment loops at the base. There is a casting seam that runs down both sides. The measure has been distorted in the ground following loss resulting in the the top becoming crushed. Copper alloy 'male' tag from a pair hooked tags. The tag has a circular plate with the base of a truncated hook at one end.  Either side of the hook are two pierced lugs (one is missing) with a third at the rear for attachment. The centre of the plate is decorated with a central harp surrounded by two rows of ropework style concentric rings. This artefact dates to the 16th century. See SOM-405427 for the looped ‘female’ equivalent.

An incomplete silver cufflink or button with an impressed design in relief of two flaming hearts underneath two clasped hands emerging from cuffs, surmounted by a crown. The item has a downturned rim and a hollow reverse that mounts a complete loop in the centre. A complete cast copper-alloy Post Medieval sword belt fitting dating c. AD 1550-1650. The sword belt fitting comprises a plano-convex central plate moulded plate with a transverse ridged collar and a debased trefoil knop at one end. A post-medieval silver annular brooch dating to c.1600-1700. The brooch consists of a circular frame, that has a flat rectangular cross-section set at an oblique angle. A constriction at one side mounds the silver pin that is mounted to the constriction bar via a by a curved penannular loop terminal. Flanking the constriction are two transverse decorative groves on either side. A narrow gold finger ring with a D-shape cross-section hoop. The flat inside is engraved with the inscription reading “NOT+VALVE+BUT+VERTVE+”. The outside of the ring is undecorated. Although this inscription is not recorded on the PAS database, the similarities in the lettering and can be drawn on many other posy rings are recorded that have a similar letting style.
