A fragment of Mesolithic flint blade, dating to c.AD 7000 - 2500 BC. The blade is made from a secondary flake of mid brown flint, the patination has mottled to a a pale brown on the outer edges. A small area of cortex remains it has a creamy patination. Small areas of retouch are visible along the edge. Length: 25.6 mm, Width: 17.8 mm, Thickness: 4.3 mm, Weight: 2.09 g

An incomplete Bronze Age flint barbed and tanged arrowhead, dating to 2500-1500 BC. The arrowhead is made from a tertiary flake of pale brown flint with a low gloss patina. One of the barbs is missing. Both faces have covering ,invasive pressure flaking. The majority of the arrowhead remains, it has one complete barb and the tang is intact. A complete Bronze Age flint barbed and tanged arrowhead, dating to 2500-1500 BC. It is possible that this is an unfinished flake. The arrowhead is made from a tertiary flake of brown flint with a slight gloss patina. Both faces have invasive pressure flaking, though one edge appears unfinished, it is uncertain as to whether one of the barbs is incomplete. Length: 30 mm Width: 24.5 mm Weight: 2 g

A complete knapped gun-flint from a flintlock musket of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1600 - 1900. The gunflint is broadly rectangular in plan and is of the classic wedge shape. A complete late Neolithic to middle Bronze Age flint Arrowhead dating to c. 3450 - 1200 BC. The lithic is a Leaf-shaped arrowhead and is lentoid in plan and bi-convex in section. Both the dorsal and ventral surfaces have covering scaled flaking and all edges, with the exception of the proximal, have fine low angled retouch. The proximal edge has been abruptly blunted. The lithic retains no cortex and is therefore a tertiary flake. The flint is dark brown in colour. Length: 37 mm Width: 20 mm Thickness: 5 mm Weight: 3.51 g
