An incomplete socketed Iron spearhead of uncertain date, dating to c.AD 43 - 1600. The working end and some of the socket are missing. The socket is open and would be circular in section if complete. It extends, narrowing, to an incomplete leaf shaped blade which is lentoid in cross-section, no decoration is apparent. The object is heavily corroded. A Roman to Medieval lead alloy vessel repair/pot mend, dating to AD 43 - 1500. It consists of two sub oval plugs sandwiched together, one of the plugs is domed. The vessel may have been thin walled and no ceramic fragment or other diagnostic material remains. Due to the absence of any surviving pottery, it is hard to determine whether this vessel repair is Roman or later in dating, as the same method of repairing ceramic vessels was practised during both periods. The object has a small rectangular centre, it has an inscribed X in the centre, projecting from each side is a cylindrical arm, each terminating in a worn break, one arm is hollow, the rest are solid. The solid arms are are decorated from the front with raised moulded lines. Each of the arms are bent towards the rear. Length: 33.5 mm Width: 22 mm

It has been also been suggested that this could be an incomlpete Iron Age baldric ring, such as BH-4DF6A2

An iron axehead of an uncertain date, dating to c.AD 800 - 1500. The axehead is triangular in plan and profile. The socket is sub-triangular in shape with a rectangular-shaped butt. The axehead tapers slightly before widening to a flared crescentic blade. The axehead has a mid orange patina with brown mottles. Length: 185 mm Weight: 109.21 Thickness: 41.42 mm Weight: 915 g The axehead appears to fit with Petersen Type G (Wheeler Type IV), a more direct date cannot be attributed as this type of axehead was used from the Early Medieval period through to the late Medieval.

It has been suggested that the object could be the foot of a larger object.

The outer surface of the bead has a silvery appearance. Diameter: 9.45 mm Perforation diameter: 4.08 mm Width: 6.26 mm Weight: 2.23 g This bead was found close to LEIC-4E8C39 an Early Medieval glass bead. This bead could possibly be of a similar date, but shows no diagnostic features.
