A Modern copper-alloy harness fitting, dating to c.AD 1900 - 2000. The object comprises of a circular body with openwork decoration, it is D-shaped in section. In the centre is a horse standing, an almond shaped eye is present on its head, the mane has been kept short and muscles are defined in its legs. The tail is curved back. An incomplete Modern silver skirt lifter, dating to c.AD 1900 - 1925. The skirt lifter is formed of two silver discs attached by a single rectangualr projection which is split. On the rectangular projection is a silver bead which enables movement. One disc is undecorated with a circular perforation in the centre.The other is complete and decorated with an incised foliate design. Length: 29 mm Width: 13.3 mm Weight: 3.70 g A makers mark of S&C co is visible on the rear of a circular plate. Seevral makers in Birimgham in the period 1900 -  1925 were operating under this stamp.

An Early Medieval copper-alloy stirrup mount, dating to c.AD 1000 - 1100. The object is sub-triangular in plan. The top of the mount is rounded and has a circular perforation within the centre of the upper projection. The plate is slightly concave to the front of the plate. The upper perforation is flanked by two knops around the edge of the stirrup-strap mount. Between the upper and lower knops the plate expands at a point which is equidistant between the two and also retains two small knops. A modern livery button, dating to AD 1839 - 1849. Possibly a button of the Farrar family of Abinger Hall in Surrey. The button shows a winged horseshoe which is a play on the name of Farrar/farrier. The front of the button has retained some gilding. On the rear is makers name in two lines..P & S Firmin 153 Strand London//13 Conduit St. The makers name and address surrounds a small integral loop. An incomplete Modern hollow cast copper alloy domed button, dating to AD 1846 - 1922. The button is circular, domed and hollow, it has retained a separately attached loop. On the front of the button is Britannia with a shield and trident who is surrounded by text that reads 'LONDON NORTH WESTERN RAILWAY COMPANY'. The loop fastener is present and separately attached, with supports on the inside of the button securing it. A fragment of a post medieval or Victorian copper alloy dress lifter. This object is the upper part of one of the arms of a set of dress lifters. The arm and is circular in cross section with two small grooves towards the scoop end, which would have held a deocrative band in place. At the other end is a broken rivet hole that would have attached to a second similar arm creating the pivot section that would have lifted the dress - this element is now missing.The object has been bent and distorted slightly. A modern copper-alloy gilded livery button, dating to c.1876 - 1893. The button is circular with a domed front a hollowed back. The front of the button is decorated with a demi lion rampant facing left and holding a dagger. This crest is associated with the Farquharson family of Aberdeen and Invercauld. On the rear of the button is the manufacturer's mark : FIRMIN & SONS 153 STRAND LONDON which gives it the date range above. At the centre is a separately attached oval suspension loop. There are traces of gilding on the front and rear. Diameter: 25.11 mm Thickness: 1.58 mm
