A complete Post Medieval copper alloy belt mount. The mount consists of two parts, a main body and a suspension ring. The body of the mount tapers slowly for 21 mm then it steps in to a width of 4.2 mm which is then bent backwards on itself to form a loop which retains the ring. The top of the mount has an inward facing chevron, below which there are two vertically spaced rivet holes running down the centre with the uppermost hole containing some corrosion from an iron rivet.
