A copper alloy probable hammer of uncertain date, Iron Age to Modern, about 400 BC - 1900. The hammer head is a pointed oval in plan, with a point at one end and a bifurcated end, perhaps a claw terminal. There is a circular perforation for the handle which is closer to the claw end. In profile, the pointed end is much thicker than the claw end. The thickness reduced suddenly in the centre, resulting in a pointed oval shape with a step in the middle. A copper alloy object which is probably part of a harness mount from an elaborate set, or a harness pendant of Medieval date, about AD 1200 - 1400. It is two elements. One is figurative, in the shape of a letter B with a projection from one end which divides into two arms that form part of a hinge. A copper alloy pin joins the two parts of the hinge. The other element is the single lug that articulates with the hinge and is broken at the other end. A copper alloy buckle or brooch pin of Medieval date, about AD 1200 - 1500. Its decorative element, and length (43.39mm), suggest it belonged to an annular brooch. The pin is of D shaped cross-section and tapers slightly in width, which at its maximum is 5.95mm, and is 1.6mm thick. The pin terminates in an integral loop which is formed by bending the strip back on itself, and is 6.5mm thick. A Post Medieval silver coin, a three pence of Elizabeth I (AD 1558 - 1603), probably second issue (AD 1561 - 1582), initial mark probably sword (AD 1581 - 1583), dated 1582 or 1583. Mint of London. See North (1991) Volume 2, number 1998 on page 135.It weighs 1.37 g. It is 17.76 mm in diameter and 0.8mm thick. The coin is bent into an S shape which may suggest it was reused as a love token.

A medieval heraldic harness pendant dating from AD 1198 - about AD 1400. The copper-alloy pendant is a shield-shaped with a flat top and curved sides forming a pointed base. It has a broken lug protruding from the upper edge which would have been a suspension loop. The loop would have been at ninety degrees to the face of th pendant, but has become twisted. The face of the pendant is decorated with a heraldic design of three lions passant guardant in relief, on a field of red (gules) enamel. The reverse of the pendant is undecorated. It weighs 8.18 g. A cast lead pendent weight of lentoid form with an integral sub-oval suspension loop dating from the Medieval or Post Medieval period, about AD 1200 - 1800. The object has a length of 65.95mm, width of 28.86, thickness of 18.41mm, and weighs 109.03g, which closely corresponds to a quarter of a pound (4 ounces, 109.4g). It is decorated on both sides with a herringbone pattern within a beaded border, and is lozenge shaped in cross-section, making a prominent ridge on each face.

A copper alloy Medieval seal matrix dating from AD 1300 - 1400. The seal has an oval face and a conical handle of hexagonal section terminating in a trilobed final perforated with a circular hole. A worn hollow in one facet of the handle was probable an orientation mark. The matrix depicts (described from the impression) a standing robed figure facing right, with a large leaf on each side. There is also a circle in the upper right field, with a star of five arms inside it.

A lead and iron seal, probably a bag seal, of Post Medieval to Modern date, about AD 1800 - 1950. It is a bulla type seal which is circular with a slot through it from side to side. The slot is filled with iron corrosion. There are faint traces of a design on both faces. It is 13.92mm in diameter, 4.63mm thick, and weighs 5.25g. Compare NLM-AF1D9C.

A copper alloy strap fitting, a mount dating to the early post-medieval period, about AD 1540-1700. The mount is a flat plate formed of four integrally cast rounded panels in a row. The middle two are larger, and the outer ones are smaller and more pointed. The two bent-over integral attachment lugs on the reverse retain a remnant of leather strap. One disc of a post-medieval copper alloy cuff link dating from AD 1662 - 1700. It is flat and circular with the remains of an integral attachment loop on the reverse. The face is decorated with a pair of clasped hands above two hearts, surmounted by a crown, on a stippled field of tiny, raised dots, all within a raised border and flat outside edge. Rose/orb type with the legend DAS WORT GOTES BLEIBT EWICK (The word of God endures forever), Mitchiner number 1494 - 1503 dating from AD 1586 - 1635. Minted at Nuremberg. Mitchiner (1988, page 435). It is 0.48mm thick, has a diameter of 24.4mm and weighs 1.0g. The jetton is pierced with a circular hole punched from the obverse (rose) side, at 11o'clock. The jetton has a die axis of 12o'clock. One edge is incomplete.
