An incomplete, gilded, copper alloy, Post Medieval, harness mount AD 1500-1800. The object comprises the central dome, suspension hinge and part of the flange decoration of the mount. The dome is central with the remains of the flange decoration that would likely have held the attachment rivets on one side. The accompanying opposed piece of decoration has been lost. There are traces of gild…

A selection of cermaic fragments from a range of vessels. The fragments are predominantly coarseware, pieces of vessel wall. There is a single piece of vessel handle made in a finer, grey fabric. A single fragment appears to retain a vitreous glaze, green in colour and common from the 12th century.  The coarsewares appear to be shell tempered and has an uneven oxidised/reduced colouration typical of small scale local production. It is possible the fragments represent a wide date range Roman - Medieval, though a tighter range within the Medieval period is more probable.

A copper alloy, finger ring of uncertain date, AD.43-1900. The object comprises the band of a copper alloy ring with a single straight break through it. The band is D shaped in cross section and of relatively even thickness and width around its circuit. The break likely represents the soldering point of the ring that has corroded and given way.
