Copper-alloy buckle and plate. Oval frame with recessed strap bar which has rounded knops. The outer edge has two lobed knops which flank the constriction for the sheet copper-alloy roller. The plate is trapezoidal with a slightly pointed end. The backplate is slightly shorter than the front plate. There is a slot for the cast copper-alloy pin which is intact, though bent. Copper-alloy spur buckle. Oval buckle with expanded and pointed outer edge and integral rectangular plate. There is a circular perforation on the strap bar for the attachment of the cast copper-alloy pin which is intact. This perforation is followed by a transverse ridge , a circular rivet hole and a further transverse ridge. The rectangular plate has bevelled sides and a flat reverse. The sheet copper-alloy plate is rectangular and both plates are of equal length (length: 31.5mm, width: 11mm). There is a slot for the cast copper-alloy pin, which also has traces of white metal coating. The plate has two rivet holes with one flat-headed copper-alloy rivet intact.

Cast copper-alloy D-shaped buckle with integral plate. The outer edge of the frame has a moulded zoomorphic head with small rounded knops on either side of the strap bar and behind the head, perhaps to represent legs. The sub-rectangular plate has a rounded knop on either side close to the buckle frame and larger rounder knops on either side on the opposite end. Corroded traces of the iron pin and and the remains of an iron rivet through the centre of the plate. .

An incomplete cast copper-alloy buckle and integral plate from a late Roman non zoomorphic continental buckle type similar to a Hawkes and Dunning IIB. Only a small part of the buckle hoop survives; it has bevelled edges, but no trace of further decoration. The plate has a medial perforation, now broken, for the missing tongue and rivet holes at either side, one of which is broken. The flat plate area is decorated with four transverse lines of rocker-arm incised decoration.
