Cast lead ampulla. Handle on both sides, neither of which is perforated. Crimping at mouth. The obverse has a large crown on a hatched ground. The reverse has a wheel-like device with eight segments and two horizontal lines above. There is a circular border around the wheel. There are close-set diagonal lines around the edge from the base of the handle to the base of the opposite handle. An identical ampulla, also with unperforated handles, is noted in the Salisbury Museums Collections (Spencer 1990, 61 no. 139 fig. 181).
