A fragment of a Post Medieval ceramic delftware bichrome tin glazed tile dating to AD 1650-1700. This is a Dutch tile. Similar tiles are recorded in Betts & Weinstein (2010:202 fig 209) excavated at Bury Street EC3 and Pluis 1997:264 A.01.13.03. The remaining sherd represents one corner and is decorated with alternating blue and white diamond pattern. The tile has a hard sandy light buff fabric with occasional red grog inclusions. The reverse of the tile is unglazed.

An incomplete Post Medieval ceramic delftware tin glazed polychrome tile dating to AD 1618-1650. Similar tiles are recorded in Betts & Weinstein (2010:105 No.83-84). Tiles painted with this design were made at Pickleherring or Rotherhithe pothouse dating from AD 1618-1650 and have been excavated at Gresham Street EC2. Dutch tiles with this design are dated AD 1570-1600 (Pluis 1997, 300, A.01.27.43). The tile has a blue/white/yellow geometric pattern consisting of diagonal interweaving strap work with foliate motif on a yellow corner square. The reverse of the tile is unglazed.
