A Medieval ceramic rim sherd from a Shelly-sandy ware cooking jar dating AD1100-1250. Shell tempered squared rim curving to an rounded body, probably from a cooking pot. Light brown clay, frequent shell inclusions up to 3mm, throwing lines internally below rim, traces of sooting on the exterior.

A fragment of Roman ceramic tile with Procuratorial stamp dating from AD 80-120. The Inscription was made with wooden stamp, the grain of which is clearly visible. The fragment of tegula has the impression of a stamp that when complete, would have read P.PR.BR within an ansate frame, this is a type 2485.9 stamp, a similar tile is depicted in Collingwood (1993:38 ii). Only four letters of the stamp, 'PR.BR' remain. The full stamp would have read P(rocuratores) PR(ovinciae) BR(itanniae).
