A cast copper alloy post medieval asymmetrical buckle. There is an openwork knop on the outer edge of the rounded loop and double lipped knops to the ends of the strap bar. The reverse of the frame is flat and the front edges of the trapezoidal loop are beveled. The buckle has a copper alloy plate with hooked terminal remaining attached to the bar, however the pin is missing. Similar to Whitehead (2016), p91, number 565 and p93, number 592. Late 16th to 17th century.

A copper alloy fragment from a medieval single loop buckle with integral plate, comprising a narrowed plate of 29.8mm in length with slightly bevelled edges, framed by double and single transverse ridges. The wider end has broken around a pair of rivet holes or circular apertures and the base of the buckle frame, now lost. The narrower end possibly features a degraded zoomorphic terminal and, on the basis of comparable examples, may have a worn break to a lost knop with a rivet hole.

A fragment of a medieval copper alloy simple bar mount, 29.7mm in length, with a slightly trapezoidal form which narrows to a break. The front has a moulded central ridge, triangular in cross section, which is recessed deeply into the front of the mount. The rear is flat with a single fixing stud remains in place. A pair of undecorated convex lead alloy buttons with integral shanks, both of which have been folded flat. Circa 16th century. From left to right in the photos:
1) Discoidal, solid, undecorated convex front, flat back, with a simple looped shank without a stem. Diameter 16.0mm. Similar to Read (2005), p60, number 229.
2) Discoidal, solid, undecorated convex front with lateral rim, concave back, with a simple looped shank on a medium length stem. Diameter 16.9mm. Similar to Read (2005), p60, number 230/231.

Three musket balls from the same findspot, circa 17th-19th century (from left to right in the photo):
1) Diameter 16.7mm, weight 23g; probably from a small musket (arquebus or caliver).
2) Diameter 16.4mm, weight 26.69g; probably from a small musket (arquebus or caliver).
3) Diameter 14.0mm, weight 18.97g, with extensive casting flashing and flattened ends from storage and which has clearly never been fired. Probably from a pistol or carbine.

One of 21.6mm diameter and 3.3mm thickness, is stamped with a seven or eight pointed star comprised of linear arms with pellets at the end and pellets between.
One of 17.7mm diameter and 1.5mm thickness is stamped with faint letters, possibly IE.
